What the shared calendar does

Rotation plus holiday rules
Set the pattern once, add holidays as rules that repeat or alternate, and the calendar builds the year.
Change requests, not edits
Propose a swap with dates. The other parent approves or declines. The calendar updates only when both agree.
The same view for both
Each parent sees the calendar with their own colour first, on their own phone, always in sync.
Events and handovers
School events, appointments and changeover times sit alongside the rotation, with who is taking the child.
